Meet the Visionary
When our founder, esteemed Teacher Hong (洪老師) , first set foot on the shores of the United States, she bore a vision – the creation of a unique after-school institution to teach Chinese. At that point, Jesus had not yet become a part of her life. It was only after embracing Christianity that she realized her vision was a divine one, a calling from the Lord Himself.
Subsequently, the words “Faith Hope & Love” were instilled in her heart, a divine sign that her calling was to establish the Faith Hope & Love Chinese School. She was guided by a simple yet profound biblical quote, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13)
In 2009, Teacher Hong received a divine message referencing ‘Abraham’s sacrifice of Isaac.’ This message beckoned her son, David, to forgo his career as a computer engineer and assume a pivotal role in the school’s mission.

Since its inception in 1989, our mission has been to provide a strong foundation in Chinese while instilling in our students timeless wisdom from the Bible. We guide our young learners towards the path of love, teaching them to appreciate the Divine and to cherish each other.

Our Curriculum
With the help of both Zhuyin and Hanyu Pinyin, we empower our students to perfect their pronunciation. Traditional and simplified Chinese aren’t taught as separate entities but woven together harmoniously in our classrooms.
